What is the value of a religion where you get to sin and not be sorry? It’s a recipe to go to hell.
Humanism is generally anti-religious, and was formed as a way to seek to separate philosophy and ethics from religion. As such, it fails to honor God, and fails to honor the Ten Commandments, and other religious law. Effectively Humanism is another lie of the devil, which leans on so-called naturalist beliefs including the debunked theory of evolution. It is impious, and relies on doubt of God to institutionalize the self as god, and science as a prescriptive law. Humanism’s reliance on science and human nature fall short of the truth of God. We know that human nature is inclination to sin and selfishness – a large deficiency of virtue. We know that science is never settled, and corruptible, even with assumed high intentions.
On Earth we pretty much get to believe what we want to believe, even when confronted with the truth. However the season of doubt is over, thanks to Data Point One.
Turns out, Christianity is the truth. Jesus Christ came down from Heaven to live as a man to lead by example. In His gospel He urged people to give up sinning, because God offers us all forgiveness and a chance to escape hell and enter into His eternal joy in Heaven. This was Jesus’ mission, to combat evil and reconcile the Human race with God, for the love of Humanity. Bringing you this truth in depth and in detail is what IntellectuallyHonest.com is here for.
The naturalist says that when you die – boop – that’s it, you just cease to exist. This position we also know is false — another lie of the devil.
Be ethical. Be scientific. Just don’t be an atheist or an agnostic, and don’t be a humanist, because those positions are untenable. Because we Humans are judged by Jesus, we should take care to work out our character faults and eliminate various corruptions, and pursue a virtuous life, not ignorant of or rejecting of religion, but at least somewhat educated in it. God, being the source of all goodness, wants His special children the Humans to love Him, love one another, and come to be very wise in goodness. That, and rejecting evil, is why we’re here.
